What we collect
This website does not have accounts, forms, or comments. Our web host records standard server logs (your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit, and the time) for security and to see which pages are read. Those logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify you.
If you email us or join the email list, we keep your email address and anything you write to us. The list is used only to send you what you asked for, such as the monthly Walt's Month card. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may log the request. If we ever add analytics, this page will say so first.
Affiliate links
Some pages and some of our post descriptions on other platforms contain affiliate links to retailers such as Lowe's or Amazon. When you click one, that retailer sets its own cookie and may pay us a commission if you buy something. The retailer's privacy policy governs what it collects on its site. We do not receive your name, address, or payment details from those purchases.
Other platforms
Our videos and posts live on YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. Each of those services has its own privacy policy, and we see only the aggregate statistics they provide to publishers.
Children
This site and the email list are for adults who own or look after a home. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Your choices
Email us to see, correct, or delete anything we hold about you, or to be removed from the list. We will answer within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and anything that affects the email list will be announced in the next email.
